4 out of 5 eggs So Far, One of My Favorite Accessories 05/22/2013

This review is from: Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover Black for iPad 2 and iPad (3rd/4th generation) (920-004013)

Pros: I've been eyeing this for a while, and I have to say that so far I'm glad I got it. It works well, I've not had any issues with connectivity, save one (see below). I like the look and feel when attached and closed or when using it to type.

Cons: If you're shelling out the full $100, then I'd say it's not worth it, but for $60 or less, I'd buy it again. There was some minor scratches on the metal backing, but nothing huge. The only connectivity issue I've had is trying to use it while it is connected via USB to charge, but that's rare, so I didn't mark off much for it. What cost it that fifth star was that when you want to use the iPad but not dick it, then you just through the keyboard aside. I really wish that they paid more attention to the thought of somehow stowing away the keyboard when you are using the iPad but not the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: I got this with a $20 rebate, so the final cost should have been $40, which would be very reasonable - if not for the fact that I didn't get the product packaging and no UPC code to claim the rebate. I'd still consider $60 a fair price, but it would have been nice to get that $20 back...

BELKIN F5D7010 Wireless G Notebook Card
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

4 out of 5 eggs It works. what else did you want? 09/15/2009

This review is from: BELKIN F5D7010 Wireless G Notebook Card

Pros: It works. I've had mine for a few years now and have never had any real issues with it.

Cons: As others have mentioned, I don't think that the software that comes with it is all that great, but unlike others, I've never had an issue disabling it. Not sure what their problem is. Outside of that, it has been a pain trying to get it to work on my laptop with Ubuntu. But on all my past windows laptops (including the one that dual boots windows and ubuntu), piece of cake.
