Thermaltake V4 Black Edition Gaming Chassis Mid Tower Steel Computer Case Fully Black Powdered Interior VM30001W2Z
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Good Ventilation
Easy Board Access
Fast Drive installation/removal
Pretty

Cons: Full Size Fans Don't Fit as intended(Top of Case)
Drive Clips Feel Flimsy and Easily Breakable
Side Panel Doesn't have Top/Bottom Track (only front)

Other Thoughts: I was really happy with this case until I bought the 120 mm fans that can be added to the top/bottom/front, then I found out that with my mother board(ASRock Z87 Extreme4 LGA 1150) because of the location of the ram/processor that the fans do not fit where they are suppose to, The fans cannot be installed without ejecting my ram or bending the board in an unnatural direction.

I ended up installing the fans anyways and just using the ventilation holes(which don't line up with the Bolt Circle of the fans properly) but hey it works. I just wish they would of factored this in when they designed the case even if it meant that the fans are not centered in the case. They could of even just made the ventilation grid match the standard bolt spacing of the fans. Oh well, you don't build your own computer with parts from different manufactures if you cannot trouble shoot small niche problems.

1 out of 5 eggs Pay a little more for reliablity. 01/29/2009

This review is from: WD My Book Essential 1TB USB 2.0 3.5" External Hard Drive WDH1U10000N

Pros: It's Cheap and big.

Cons: The drive that I received failed after a week of use. Windows stopped assigning a drive letter to this drive and I have not been able to find a solution to this problem with any part of the WD support site or other online resources.

Other Thoughts: With as many of these drives that they make I may of just gotten a bad one of the batch. However I did receive it in what looked to be perfect condition and worked for a week. I recommend looking up the negative reviews on other websites before purchasing this drive. Buying this drive you role the dice. Good Luck, Mine wasn't.
