SAMSUNG S24D300H Black 24
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Newer games look super sharp detailed. No screen artifacts no dead pixels. Text look quite clear and a fair price.

Cons: I wish the monitor's controls were lighted so I adjust with out turning on room light. Darker scenes in games I see a faint lightness in the blacks probably from the LED.

Other Thoughts: using a VGA connector image still looks good.

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 6 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Seems pretty stable right now. Plays nice with Amd 8350 CPU right now. No BSOD as of yet.

Cons: Has developed a hiccup with the usb switch. When using a USB switch paired with a USB hub, sometimes it won't initialize with OS. I will have to switch back and forth in order for it to see the the hub.

Other Thoughts: Using 2 computers with KVM switch and a USB switch paired with a USB hub. Also using a CPU water cooled system and no overclocking of any of the components.

LINKSKEY LKV-248AUSK 4-Port Desktop USB + PS/2 KVM Switch w/ Audio & Mic
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Works great with vga monitor switching between Win XP and Win 7. I use it only for video. As long as resolution is not too high.

Cons: Runs on USB !.1 have to use a ps/2 keyboard to use the commands on the switch.

Other Thoughts: I use a separate usb switch for my hub for USB 2.0. I don't use the audio cable but instead use a USB external sound card.
