This review is from: iStarUSA BPN-DE230SS-BLUE 2 x 5.25" to 3 x 3.5" SAS / SATA Trayless Hot-Swap Cage
Pros: Good construction, easy to install, got it on sale for $40, definitely worth it at that price point.
Cons: Requires 2 SATA power plugs to power all three bays, which I suppose makes sense. Included SATA cables are not SATA3 compatible, so if you intend to maximize your throughput for this, make sure you have/use the correct cables.
Other Thoughts: Ran out of SATA ports on my mobo, so I can only use two of the three bays, my bad for not remembering how many drives I already had installed. Otherwise make sure your bios allows you to enable hot-swapping for the ports you are going to use with this so you can disconnect they and use it as intended.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: - Decent sound/mic functionality for Bluetooth connection
- < $20 price tag (on sale)
- Long battery life
- Wireless or wired (cable included)
Cons: - Poor noise cancelling effect even with louder volume
- Ear cups do not fit all head sizes (I have a big noggin >< )
- No way to lock extendable headband to a specific size
Other Thoughts: - Would be awesome to have a way to fold back one side to use only the other ear at a time (for when I was driving home from a family vacation this week)READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Targus Black 17" XL Notebook Backpack Model TXL617
Pros: Easily held both laptops I was toting around, both a 17" in the larger back compartment, and a 15.3" in the central compartment.
Lots of space. I bought this for traveling on the weekend to different cities for a seasonal job this summer, and it worked well.
Cons: Needs more pockets.
This isn't a con for some I'm sure, however the backpack I bought this to replace had TONS of little zipper and elastic pockets that made sorting the various chargers/misc. stuff I always keep with me while traveling, much easier. The lack of those in this were easily missed, but overall that's personal preference.
Other Thoughts: If you need tons of space and don't mind just tossing everything in larger compartments, this bag will work great for your needs.
The straps are nicely sewn into the design with durability in mind, most designed to spread weight over larger seam areas to avoid rippage, which admittedly was one of the design features that made me buy it in the first place.
