This review is from: WD Elements 2TB Desktop External Hard Drive
Pros: High Capacity
Cons: Non-transparent case, no possibility of illuminating spinning platters with cold cathode
Other Thoughts: The following easily removable SATA disk was contained inside the enclosure:
ATA device, with non-removable media
Model Number: WDC WD20EZRX-00DC0B0
Firmware Revision: 80.00A80
Transport: Serial, SATA 1.0a, SATA II Extensions, SATA Rev 2.5, SATA Rev 2.6, SATA Rev 3.0
Pros: Works for VDPAU hardware decoding of x264 content in Debian Wheezy (7.0), with NVidia proprietary driver installed from the Debian repository. HDMI output works.
Cons: Misleading item title... card itself is low profile, but the bracket is not. For low-profile applications (slim case), If neither VGA port nor a firm secure installation are required, card can easily be modified by removing the bracket and VGA ribbon.
Somewhat Expensive, but this is probably explained by low demand, and inclusion of a PEX8112 PCIx to PCI bridge on board.
Other Thoughts: lspci:
04:02.0 PCI bridge: PLX Technology, Inc. PEX8112 x1 Lane PCI Express-to-PCI Bridge (rev aa) (prog-if 00 [Normal decode])
05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT218 [GeForce 210] (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

latest driver from NVidia web site did not seem to work too well, but the locked down 304.88 version in the debian repo worked perfectly.
This review is from: Intel Pentium E2160 Allendale Dual-Core 1.8GHz LGA 775 65W Processor BX80557E2160
Pros: Runs at 3+ GHz easily with stock cooling.
Other Thoughts: You may have to bump up the core voltage a little.READ FULL REVIEW
