This review is from: Logitech T650 910-003057 1 x Wheel USB RF Wireless Touchpad
Pros: Huge surface, responsive and easy to setup
Cons: I wish the included software allowed you to set up custom gestures.. I use the App search function a lot in win * and it would be great if i could assign a gesture to that.
Right click default, lower right corner tab, is a pain at times. I found changing to 2 finger tap or right bottom corner a better setting.
Other Thoughts: This is a great touch pad. instillation was a snap and its large surface and responsiveness is a dream. I got this to use with my win 8 upgrade and im glad i did. I have had a few touch pads before this and they all lacked the smoothness this one has. This might sound bad but the touch pad in my XPS feels cheap and unresponsive compared to the Logitech one. I would suggest this product to anyone.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: StarTech SVID2USB2 USB to S-Video and Composite Video Capture Cable with Audio
Pros: Simple to use, small and CHEAP.. 5 eggs if it was just the hardware..
Cons: The software stinks. I would not even bother installing it. This is the reason for dropping 2 eggs. The software is useless, so don't bother installing.
Other Thoughts: My system is Win 8 Enterprise, dell XPS-17 (701x). The software installs but is very unreliable if it runs at all.. Don't bother installing Grabee, it wont work. I can view video but forget about recording, empty files. The DVD create software will work for capturing but only the non-preview version so unless you have an external tv attached its useless..
It apears the encode for this hardware based on Windows Media Encoder which was dropped with win 7 sp2. If you can find a third party download of Windows Media Encoder 9, google search, it works great and does what i need with this hardware..
This review is from: NETGEAR WGT624 Wireless Firewall Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g
Other Thoughts: I just og this router and i have to say that so far i love it.. I currently have the wireless part of it shut off, :-( but that will cahnge in a month when my new Multimedia PC is up and running.. But currently i have the 2 house computer hard wired to it and i have to say that they are flying.. I had a D-Link before this and i can deffently see a vast improvment in preformance. I'm hopinh that they will soon have a PCI card for this system, that way i can upgrade my 2 current computers. Setup was easy and went without a hitch.. I like the interface that they provide not to mention that the case is has a very pleasent design.READ FULL REVIEW
