This review is from: Intel BOXDX79SI LGA 2011 Intel X79 2 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: -Rock Solid Stable
-easy auto overclock
Cons: -Can't team LAN(huh?)
-rather have 4x rear panel USB3 and no internal USB3
-only 2x SATAIII
-Frugal Back panel
-Bad x16 PCI layout where with dual slot cards they are right next to each other, I'd rather the top and bottom be x16 and middle be x8 for good dual slot airflow and dual triple slot cards in 2x SLI/CF
Other Thoughts: You can do better for the price(or lower too), the GA-X79-UP4, ASRock Extreme4, and GA-X79-UD3 are good examples.
I bought this because it was an Intel EPP combo deal with a 180GB SSD+i7-3930k for 625 dollars.
Pros: cheap, works, barely.
Cons: Made by CWT, not Seasonic.
Extremely cheap caps that make noise that can vary anywhere from a loud squeal to a constant buzzing depending on the amount of load.
Other Thoughts: Go for a TX650 instead of this, chances are if you're getting a cheap PSU you don't need 750w anyways.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheaper than the XFX core and does basically the same thing
Good wattage and efficiency.
Cons: mediocre fan
loud, but what can you expect at this price
Other Thoughts: Powering an i7 3930k, DX79SI, and Radeon 7950 just fine.READ FULL REVIEW
