This review is from: ASUS ROG PG278Q Black 27" WQHD 2560 x 1440, 144 Hz 1ms (GTG) NVIDIA G-Sync Gaming Monitor with Exclusive GamePlus onscreen timer / crosshair, Tilt, Swivel, Pivot, Height Adjustable
Cons: can't use g-sync with ulmb
Other Thoughts: Don't get my wrong, this is a great monitor, but it being the first of its kind doesn't justify the price. g-sync is great and all, but the average person won't tell the difference. in FPS, ulmb is better and so smooth. If you get this, do the UFO Motion test and you'll see why ulmb is a lot smoother than g-sync. I've got a gtx 980, so gsync is worthless since this card can handle anything and everything.
I'll be getting a 27" 144hz 1080p monitor instead and it's hundreds cheaper.
Gsync can wait, especially since it's first being displayed on a 1440p res.
Other Thoughts: I bought this CPU for a new build last year with the intent of overclocking it. After running all my tests, I started to overclock it and wanted to go above 4.0Ghz. I tried to push it to 4.2, but was unstable. After a lot of voltage tweaking, I got a stable overclock at 4.0, which is plenty for my needs. I run it at 4.0 24/7 and have never had a BSOD or any issues with it for almost a year.READ FULL REVIEW
