Pros: Great specs on paper...now let the cons begin:
Never have I had so much trouble with a board and customer support. I had this board for about a month and half, enough time for the newegg return policy to no longer be vaild. Then the board started going to fail.
Cons: After being able to get to a windows login screen I started getting the BSOD instantly. I was able to determine that one of my RAM slots had gone bad. The about a 2-3 days later another slot went bad.
I contacted ASUS support and after numerous days (I cant even remember how long it took) I heard a response. I then received an email telling me how to go about RMA my board. After spending this much money on a board I now had to pay to ship it back to them and go without having a computer for 10 days. Needless to say I have to use this computer everyday for school and work and cant afford to have it gone for a + week worth of time. In addition, after reading previous reviews about people getting refurbished boards I really dont want to end up going from a semi-working board to fried CPU bc of a "fixed" board. I simply didnt RMA my board and now looking to buy a different one. I just dont understand how ASUS can't just send people a new (working) board.
