This review is from: Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage USB Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset
Pros: Wireless, great battery life and I can walk to the kitchen or bathroom and continue talking to the bros. They do sound very good, too. Removable mic is awesome. Feel very solid and overall the build quality is on par with the price.
And not that it matters, but the charging cable is legit.
Cons: I found these headphones to be insanely uncomfortable. The ear cups are too small for my (apparently) huge ears. The 3D sound means there is a dome shape in the cup, so your ears get pinched between the speaker and the foam surround. Also, the headband pad is made of bricks. The top of my head hurts so bad after an hour or so. I'm constantly moving them around to give parts of my head a break. It should really be made of some softer foam. They are also quite heavy, I expected this because they are wireless and because of the claimed battery life, but in practice it's significant.
Other Thoughts: Overall, I don't regret the purchase. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger. I still use them every day and it's still the best headset I've ever owned.
Comes with software that allows you to change many settings from sound balance to an EQ. You can also change the important stuff like the color of the lights on the side and how often they pulse.
I just wish Creative would have spent all that software money on some ergonomics.
Pros: Great picture, plug n' play, borderline sexually attractive bezels. Also, what a great price! I got them on sale, but even at regular price, it's worth it.
I personally love the glossly/glass screen surface, it does catch some glare but you can actually clean it fairly easily when it gets dusty and mysteriously smudged.
Cons: They didn't come with DVI cables. Some other brands come with all the cables the screen is compatible with, these only came with a VGA and I'm pretty sure no modern video card has one of those, so you'll need some cables/adapter.
Other Thoughts: Also, many people complain about the buttons being on the sides. While their placement is admittedly pretty stupid, the monitors go on standby when your tower turns off, I have hit the power button once since I bought them. So it doesn't matter where they are.
Also, they don't stop you from making run-on sentences (obviously).
