Pros: Low cost.
3 year warranty.
Cons: Mine was DOA. Connected it to PC and got a white screen. Issued an RMA and found I had to pay $23 to have it shipped.
Other Thoughts: I haven't purchased a monitor in a while - so I'm not familiar with the packing process for monitors from Newegg. Mine was shipped in the factory box - maybe that explains how it was DOA on day one. Now it appears I need to cover the cost to have it replaced - $23.00 - WHAT KINDA GARBAGE IS THAT? I could have purchased from a local box store & if it was broekn brought it back for free.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Purchased this kit to double the RAM in my Toshiba A660 (part #PSAW3U-0DC001). I've been purchasing Crucial RAM for years now for personal and professional purposes, and have rarely ran into an issue. Before purchasing I used CPU-Z to verify the specifications of the RAM being replaced - and it appeared this kit would meet the requirements.
Once installed the laptop will not post - just a blinking cursor in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Cons: Does not work in my laptop - without having another rig to test with I'm not sure if it's a compatability issue, or just bad modules.
Other Thoughts: Just created an RMA using the chat method - the process was quick and easy.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BYTECC BT-200 USB2.0 to IDE Cable With Power Adapter
Pros: Excellent idea! A must have for anyone's tech toolkit. This will allow me to connect external hard drives to my PC without having to install them inside a PC or in an external enclosure. Working in an IT shop this will be a real time saver.
Cons: Unless I missed it (and I might have) this unit didn't (but should) include some critical instructions for use. You MUST set 3.5 drives as a master, and connect the cables in the following order: Power cord to wall jack, power to drive, IDE to drive, USB to PC. Since I was unaware of that I initially reviewed this unit as DOA. Once you know how to connect it - it works great.
Other Thoughts: Once you are "in the know" on it's use you're good to go! Newegg comes through with another cool tool! Will there be a SATA version?READ FULL REVIEW
