AMD FX-4300 Vishera Quad-Core 3.8GHz (4.0GHz) Socket AM3+ 95W FD4300WMHKBOX Desktop Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: This processor is a bounty of budget-friendly power. I like to build low cost gaming systems, and this processor has not disappointed me. With four cores and very substantial clock speed, I am very happy with the purchase.

Cons: I guess the only con is that it isn't 8 cores.

Rosewill RDCR-11004 - Data Hub for 5.25
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: If it works, the number of supported card types and the extra ports. Fits in 5.25" bay.

Cons: The system will not boot with this thing hooked up. The first one was DOA, and the second one lasted a week. It seems like a short is at fault, so the craftsmanship on these has earned a low rating from me.

Other Thoughts: I would avoid this, and look into a more reliable multi-reader.

MSI 970A-G43 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 6 x SATA 6Gb/s ports by AMD SB950 - Supports storage and data transfers at up to 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: This board has plenty of bells and whistles for most needs. 6 sata ports, xfire on 2 x16 lanes, and good audio onboard.

Cons: This board came in DOA. Its rather disappointing to have to unplug everything after the build, especially removing the power connector from the board. That thing is on there like it was glued in! What a pain!
