Pros: The 128 Bit GDDR5 memory really gives this card a boost.
This makes the 96 cores really fly.
57.6 GB/s may sound overkill but it helps, you may find yourself playing high end games this card isn't suppose to handle at mid range settings. Most games are designed to be "playable" so they don't loose out to the lower end market but don't expect to get full antialiasing and tessellation, it should do 40fps+ without those settings turned on.
Cons: None, Card is well balanced in price and performance.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Antec VP-450 450W ATX 12V v2.3 Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible
Pros: Extremely Reliable, Survived several voltage surges
+80% Efficiency at any load (By hardware secrets review)
True 450W power
This performs like a more expensive power supply.
Cons: None, I'm impressed.
Other Thoughts: It delivers 80%+ efficiency which is insane for a PSU without PFC
I have a cheap Allied 450w power supply and it refuses to power my video card, I decided to do a little experiment.
It turns out the Antec PSU was able to power my high end unit with the video card, I even overclocked my GTX460 and did a 48 hour stress test, the PSU held up and continued to work silently, my take is that it’s missing overload protection, so it was probably doing around 500w in my tests.
Would recommend, would buy again twice.
