This review is from: ASUS ROG GL551 series GL551JW-DS74 Gaming Laptop 4th Generation Intel Core i7 4720HQ (2.60 GHz) 16 GB Memory 1 TB HDD 128 GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 2 GB GDDR5 15.6" Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Pros: -All components functional, no DOAs.
-Fast and stuff
-Screen is really good. Bright, clear, correct color balance. (NOTE: This comment refers to the IPS screen that comes with the 128GB SSD model only).
-Able to play my current games (Warthunder, Cities Skylines) at full quality and resolution at very smooth framerate.
-heat management is good. After several hours of play, the keyboard only became silghtly warm.
-Computer is not too heavy, should be easy to carry around in a bag.
-keyboard is nice. Key press feels good. It's slightly soft, which is nice - not too firm, but enough resistance to be nice.
-num pad on a 15" laptop isn't common. This is a nice feature.
Cons: -No VGA port. That's bad if you want to connect this computer to many projectors, like in meetings. There are HDMI to VGA converters you can get, however.
Other Thoughts: -Have not evaluated battery life yet
-I swapped the 1TB HDD for a 1TB SSD (by Crucial, the BX series).
-Windows 8 is somewhat annoying, but not too bad. Don't fear the switch if it would be your first time.
This review is from: Brother HL-3170CDW 600 x 2400 dpi USB/Wireless Color Laser Printer
Pros: Wireless connection worked the first time with little to no troubleshooting.
Color pictures come out great (not photo quality, but still very good).
Print speed seems fast.
Windows driver is easy to use.
Automatic double-sided printing works great.
Printer enters standby mode, and automatically resumes when you send it a print job.
Toner is easy to swap.
Printer is small...fits under the end-table right beside the couch.
Cons: When entering your wireless key, you scroll through all the letters and numbers with up/down buttons. It's a slight pain. But, you only have to do that once.READ FULL REVIEW
