This review is from: Rosewill RX-C200P 2.5" SSD / HDD Plastic Mounting Kit for 3.5" Drive Bay
Pros: It worked for mounting a SSD drive in my system.
The soft plastic easily conforms to to threads of standard machine or self-tapping screws.
Cons: Although the photo on the box and the listing depicts screws, my sample did not have. I had to supply my own.
The plastic construction will not assist in dissipating heat. I mounted my SSD in front of a fan.
Other Thoughts: I am very disappointed with Rosewill's poor quality control that allowed my sample to be shipped without screws.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is a nice system, especially if you normally attach it to an external monitor. It has more than enough power to edit high resolution raw photos.
Cons: 1) The 640x480 web has very little dynamic range, easily saturates in moderate light. The web cam in my old eee netbook is much better than this one. It is possibly the worst web cam I have seen in years.
2) Windows 10 Home defaults to spying on you and skype has advertisements. These can be easily defeated with research, but it is highly annoying. This is why I run Mint Linux on most of my systems. This it not the fault of ASUS.
3) Crapware! The system comes with moderate amount of crapware that takes time to remove.
4) Very limited viewing angle on the screen.
Other Thoughts: It is an excellent value if priced near four hundred.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nice picture when it worked
Cons: Worked fine for 18 months of use of about 6 hours/week and then died.
The monitor stopped displaying video from the computer.
When plugged into a system the computer sees the monitor is there and sends it video, but nothing displays. Same result with all four inputs; dvi, vga, hdmi, & DP. Same result with multiple computers and cables that all work fine with other monitors.
The monitor will happily display it's built in test patterns and menus, but will not display any video input into it.
Other Thoughts: I had to go through a maze of phone numbers at ASUS, each message giving me a new number to call. My initial contact with customer service is not encouraging. I will now see if their warranty is any good.READ FULL REVIEW
