XFX HD-657X-ZDF2 Radeon HD 6570 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: they are close by?
somewhat quiet

Cons: This is a replacement card for a XFX PVT98GYDLU GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card. It doesn't even compare! Use to have a 90+ frame rate with the old card and now have a 30 if i'm lucky

Other Thoughts: Contacted XFX and told sorry we no longer have any "good" GeForce cards. And that this card is comparable to the other. Asked if I could pay the difference to get a card closer to what I had and they said no.

ASUS M3N78 PRO <GREEN> AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8300 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Cheap, good layout

Cons: RMA'd first Mb no video, got 2nd and will not post with any video cards. Went through ASUS tech support this board has known issues with 9800gt cards, also tried to use 9600 gso, and 6600gt, even tried an old pci card just to see and wold not post with that either.

Other Thoughts: Huge ASUS fan but I don't think I will be using them any more I have built hundreds of ASUS based comps and the last 4 have been fail do to the boards.
