This review is from: Battlefield 4 PlayStation 3
Pros: Gameplay is pretty competitive. 5 man squads makes for more fun. Maps are perhaps too similar to previous games. Huge customization options for guns, kits, and vehicles. Navel combat makes for a new perspective.
Cons: Graphics are worse than BF3. Game is unpolished. You can see it in how your character gets stuck on objects, cannot climb objects shorter than your character, and cannot simply swim safely onto land. Game crashes on all consoles and computers without much reason consistently and repeatedly. Vehicle driving and piloting took a step backward in controls. Battlepacks or battlewoods are a way to get you to pay for premium because you cannot simply earn attachments by gaining experience with weapons. Building collapsing is a feature that likely freezes your gaming system and after the first few wow's is game distracting and for trolling (I'm guilty).
Other Thoughts: A backwards new shooter game.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: A good desktop replacement for the price -> $750. 1080 screen. HDMI + VGA out. USB 3.0 ports. USB charging while sleeping support. Ease of access and installation of Win7 drivers, do not use the BIOS driver update if you do this. You will need a more up to date disk of Win7 as I had problems with older disks.
Cons: Lid is very touchy and likes to slam shut when you try to close the laptop. Bluetooth is finicky sometimes when attempting to pair with devices. Fan is louder than a typical laptop when doing minimal activity. Win8 was slow and sluggish and non-intuitive. Win7 was faster but not to my expectation, I will try to add a SSD or a 7200 rpm HDD. Does not see headphones as a separate sound device which makes it a pain to switch from and to when the volume stays constant (my ears hurt).
Other Thoughts: I got this as a desktop replacement. I am not sure I like or dislike the springy, clacking keyboard. The power adapter is not the biggest I've seen but it still is a pain to lug around and does like to sit well if you move around a bit. Construction is perhaps similar to other laptops but definitely requires strengthening to handle to the increased weight.READ FULL REVIEW
