This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Nothing of note. Maybe the overclocking capabilities if the board lasted long enough to try them.
Cons: First board died after three days of use. Second board died after a staggering three hours of use.
Other Thoughts: First purchased this board in December 2012. Installation went fine. Three days later the board died. Went through the RMA process with Newegg and received my second board a couple of weeks later. Three hours after installation the board is dead again.
Funny thing is that I haven't been doing anything intensive when the boards have died. First time I was watching a stream on Netflix. Second time it died I was opening photo editing software. I was excited to get this board due to the overclocking abilities, but I can't comment on them because I never got a chance to use them.
I've used Gigabyte a few times in the past and had no problems with them. I can confidently say that I'm through with them. My previous build was a competing manufacturer. I should have listened to my inner voice and stuck with them.
Gigabyte, please get your stuff together. You've made good products in the past. Where did you go wrong here???

Pros: Whisper quiet fan. Has kept my processor very cool under heavy load so far. Also like the option of being able to add a second fan if I want to in the future.
Cons: Installation could be tremendously easier!
I've used TT products for over a decade now. I've been a satisfied customer this entire time. This unit, however, makes me want to consider switching to another brand.
What were they thinking when they designed this? I shouldn't need three hands to install a CPU fan. I understand making sure the surface stay tight together, but they could have done the same thing with springs that compress easier. Get your stuff together TT!
Other Thoughts: Like other reviewers, only recommend this for a new build. I wouldn't recommend this to novice builders either. I've been building PCs for 17 years and this has to be the most difficult installation for a CPU fan ever!READ FULL REVIEW
