This review is from: Rosewill RX35-AT-IU SLV Aluminum 3.5" Silver IDE USB 2.0 External Enclosure
Pros: It's built fairly well. Even though it said at had a 320Gb limit I can see all of my 400Gb drive.
I use this with my Mac as a Time Machine backup. It sleeps when not in use and stays rather cool.
Cons: I took extra care with the screws, none of my philips would get a good grip , and just had to be careful not to strip them. The switch is kinda cheap, but I leave the unit on 26/7 so not a issue with me.
Other Thoughts: It's a good value. The aluminum seems to dissipate the heat well. Just be careful when assembling.READ FULL REVIEW
Cons: Won't boot from DVD for new install. Gives a 0x80300002 error when trying to access the connected hard drive. I tried with and without loading drivers. New Drivers from iocrest website didn't make any difference.
Other Thoughts: The adapter is listed as Syba but it's an iocrest. the box in the picture is correct for iocrest. I've purchased actual Syba adapters in the past and they worked fine.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good if you know how to set it up. It's not a typical beginners motherboard. But the more options the better and the price was good too.
Cons: couldn't control the fan speeds from the BIOS, the chasis fan is always 100% and rather loud.
Other Thoughts: I would use this in other builds but go with a PWM fan controller. It went into my dad's computer and he's happy just to have a working system again.READ FULL REVIEW
