Pros: -Easy installation and setup. No problems or glitches. Software worked first time.
-Very, very quiet even at high load. Far quieter than a 980 TI.
-Excellent thermal performance. Better than I expected. Temperatures never approached thermal throttling limits.

Cons: No issues of any type.

Other Thoughts: 1080p monitor users should seriously consider this card. Don't need to have a higher resolution monitor to be satisfied with the improved performance of this guy.

This review is from: MB GIGABYTE | GA-Z170X-SOC FORCE RT Configurator

Pros: Building a PC with components that do not play well together can lead to hours of troubleshooting and frustration. This combination was well thought out and works well.

Cons: The 4 TB hard drive slows system boot-up. This is not a problem unless one wants a system that boots instantly. The boot device needs to be an SSD or, better yet, an M2 drive.

Other Thoughts: I like the Gigabyte motherboards - particularly the OC series. These motherboards have proven themselves to be excellent performers.

Pros: Installed 6700K processor, 32 gb of G.Skill memory, M2 SSD, 980TI and a couple of hard drives and optical drives. Powered the system up, installed OS and everything worked without any issue. Ran demanding benchmarks and games. Everything works. No spooky reboots or blue screens. I'm impressed.

Cons: No bugs. Did not use the Easy-Tune software that is provided - really do not need it.
Documentation is not easy to read. Using an M2 drive (depending on which one is used) will turn off a SATA port. The exact port is listed in an obscure chart. I figured this out when one hard drive would not appear in BIOS.

Other Thoughts: I've used the Gigabyte OC boards with the 1166 and 1150 processors. They all worked well after lots of setup time and effort. This board is a large improvement over the previous models. Might take advantage of the installed water-cooling connections on the MB and install a full water-cooling system.
