This review is from: LIAN LI Black Aluminum PC-C34F ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Pros: Installed a full size ATX M/B (Asus P7P55D-E Pro)............. had a problem with the sata ports pointing out toward the hard drive cage (too close)
I removed the hard drive cage and cut out a section at base of cage (which is below the bottom hdd area) just enough to clear the sata cables (even though the sata cables were right-angled, they still would have hit the hdd cage)
it all worked out ok, however, I think the case manufacturers and the m/b manufacturers should get together on this stuff so that end users don't have to do modifications.
Cons: The remote works, although you have to point at the case?? this doesn't make any sense to me as I think it RF type and not IR ?? (RF = Radio Frequency and is suppose to go thru walls, etc)
The documentation could have been better to explain wiring.
Other Thoughts: Case looks good and similiar in colour and size of my AV Receiver.
I like the fact that you can easily swap hard drives. Didn't think much of it at first, but I can see now with storing many full length movies (avg= 35GB) on hdd as ISO's, they will fill up fast. Since hdd drives are so cheap ($50 for 1TB), I"ll probably keep buying extra hard drives just to store movies on them.....
the blank blu-ray media is more expensive then the hard drives... (at least the 50gb blank dual layer discs are @ $10-20 each)
