Pros: It looks nice and is built with long lasting components.
Cons: USB issues abound with this board (and several other X99 boards). In my case, installing Asus AISuite results in all USB ports going completely dead at Windows login screen. There's no PS/2 port so logging in to Windows becomes impossible. Rolling back to a restore point before AISuite was installed fixes this, but without AISuite I'm not able to use all the boards features.
A more serious issue is the SATA controller. This board will immediately and routinely cause disk errors and data loss to any HDD connected to it's SATA ports. I replaced all other components including SATA cables, PSU and Memory to be sure it was the board, still got data loss on 6 different HDD's connected to this board.
So far Asus support has not been helpful. Asus phone support staff are completely clueless. They suggested I buy a different version of Windows to troubleshoot these problems. I'm using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and I don't want to use any other version. They insisted that trying Windows 7 Professional would help. Really? Unbelievable haha.
Looks like I'll need to disassemble my build and RMA this board. What a shame that these boards are not tested more thoroughly.
Other Thoughts: Although this board does look good, it would be really great if Asus made it in some different colors. Not many people will be building military green themed rigs. How about white or black versions Asus?READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Anker 71AN7109-W2A White 20W Dual-Port USB Wall Charger
Pros: The outside finish seems to be durable.
Cons: When plugged in, this charger emits a loud buzzing noise. It's noisy even when nothing is plugged into the USB ports. Too loud and annoying to be used in the house.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: be quiet! DARK ROCK PRO 3 Silentwings CPU Cooler 250W TDP
Pros: Looks awesome, this thing is big, black and beautiful!
Extremely quiet even under heavy CPU loads. The included fans are high quality.
Temps are excellent, on par with the best coolers from Noctua.
Install was not very difficult.
Cons: The included wrench is a joke. I happened to have a set of Craftsman Mini Ignition wrenches and one of them fit perfectly, but otherwise install may have been a pain.
This cooler is so heavy that transporting/shipping or otherwise moving the PC with this installed presents a real danger of breaking something. If you have to move it, stuff some styrofoam blocks around it to give support.
