Pros: Works flawless for 2 months
Cons: slow connection
stop working reliabliy after 2 months
Other Thoughts: this unit runs hot very quickly. it would not send/receive data once it reaches a threshold temperature. My solution is to use a usb extension cable and tape the unit outside the case's exhaust fan opening to cool it down. it works reliably thereafter.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: everything HD6xxx has: DX11, 3D ready, HDMI out...
Cons: Price (if you know what you're really getting)
64bit memory interface instead of 128
4 RoPs instead of 8
667 MHz stock memory clock
Memory bandwidth = 10.7GB/s ??!!!!
Other Thoughts: This card deserves a 1 or 2 egg rating. This product is a total ripoff and there is no research can prepare you until you install the card and read the numbers off GPU-z that you realized you have been had. With these numbers, the card is only about 50% as powerful as a regular HD6570 at best. When did ATI started to engage in shady business practice like nvidia? $10 more can get you HD6670, a card 3 times the performance.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Not sure if price is a pro in this case considering you have to buy an after market heatsink for adequate cooling.
Cons: Price is about the same as Intel platform if electric bill is taken into account for a 3 year operation.
Other Thoughts: I am not a fanboy of any type. The reality is Intel is a better option today. It is faster, produces less heat and more energy efficient than AMD. You can also run SLI on Intel boards too. An intel system may be slightly more expensive, but after a few years, electric bill is more than enough to cover any difference in price and you have a more powerful and reliable system.READ FULL REVIEW
