Pros: Decent sound depending on where positioned, more bass if placed up against a wall thanks to the rear bass ports.
Bluetooth connects easily.
Cons: When charging the battery the blue light never stops flashing so there is no way to know when the battery is fully charged.
The light is supposed to turn red to let you know when the battery is getting low, it doesn't, the speakers just stop working without warning.
You have to turn the speakers on manually when using battery power then you can use the remote to control things and turn unit off. The remote will not turn on the speakers if using battery power.
Not very portable, needs handle or case.
Other Thoughts: I contacted jLab support about these issues and they sent me a replacement remote telling me that should solve the problems, it didn't so they told me to contact Newegg for a full order replacement under the warranty. That cost me $15.99 to ship the speakers back.
The replacement unit did not perform any better than the original one, I had all the same issues. I emailed Jlab support about this and have so far not received any reply from them. Looks like they are ignoring me now so you can draw your own conclusions from this.
Pros: Fast, Small footprint, windows7. Large Hard Drive, High Def Video Card.
Cons: No dedicated VGA output so you have to use the supplied DMI/VGA adapter. Power switch sometimes doesn't work as mentioned by other customers.
Other Thoughts: This is a great PC for the price. I bought this for the wife as she wanted a smaller sized system with Windows 7 installed. The machine is much faster than her old Dell and apart from the fancy blue lit power switch causing a few probs we have had no other issues.
I contacted Acer support about the switch problem and they issued an RMA but we decided to keep it as it's been working ok recently so fingers crossed it holds up over the long term.
This review is from: Cavalry CAUM Series 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - CAUM3701T0-B
Pros: Well made casing and cool looking unit. Great price at Newegg with $20 mail in rebate at the time I purchased making it $94.99 with free shipping..... for a 1TB external drive this was a bargain... Or so I thought!!
After researching external hard drives for day's I decided to plunge for this 1TB unit.
Ordered Sunday night Newegg got it to me by Wednesday, so Kudos to Newegg.
I had read all the reviews on this drive at various online sites and wasn't disappointed when I unpacked it. It really is a heavy but well made and sleek looking drive enclosure. Pity I can't say the same for the actual drive inside.
Cons: I backed up 62GB of data in around 90minutes using USB2 and Active@Disk image software ( trial version ) then I used the software to check the backup up image file which took another 30 mins and gave me a good result. So I moved onto backing up my C drive and that's when the problems started. After a couple of minutes the Blue light went out on the drive unit leaving just a small red glow showing through the front bezel.
The backup failed. I though maybe it was the software causing the problem so I downloaded Acronis Home 2009 and tried backing up with this. Same problem. Next I tried manually copying files over to the drive and that seemed to go ok for about 30 minutes or so then the light went out again and the backup stopped.
I did a check online and found one other reviewer on a different site who had a similar problem, so I contacted Newegg and got an RMA it's going back today.
Other Thoughts: It's costing me 10 dollars to ship it back to Newegg. If I get a replacement and that turns out to be a dud it will cost me another 10 dollars to return that one plus I don't get the 20 dollar rebate which means I would end up with no drive and be 20 dollars out of pocket..... kinda takes the edge off shopping online.READ FULL REVIEW
