Pros: Fast and quiet
Cons: Failed after 8 months of regular usage. I've never had a hard drive fail so quickly.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: price - will update after receiving product.
Cons: none yet - will update soon
Other Thoughts: @John The model number is consistent with the description. Check the specs at the lg site... it says 250cd/m 2 quite plainly.
Also, the specs both here and on the lg site say it has a VESA mount, which JB's dad says it doesn't.
I'll update this review after I test it out, as I just ordered today. I just thought I'd go ahead and say something to help others along with the purchase. John is just wrong. Perhaps JB's dad received the wrong monitor or LG messed up in listing their specs. I'll report back soon.
Pros: Spacious enough for my Hyper 212 evo and has good cable management. Removable filters (yes, the front one is removable too!). Many places for fan mounting. Rails for tool-less 3.5" drive installation. LED is not too bright to leave on at night. The design is relatively clean.
Cons: No eggs taken for the following because I knew what I was getting when I bought it. Top SSD mount is useless since the motherboard covers two of the screw holes. Case has no sound dampening and is consequently loud. Air intakes are on the front (unlike my old SOLO II) so the hard drive noise goes straight out the case instead of reflecting around first. Lastly, just a nitpick: the outside is all straight lines except for the front, which has some curved bulky looking edges.
Other Thoughts: The 8-pin connector took some real fiddling to get around the top of the motherboard tray. I also rerouted the motherboard connectors and front audio over and around the back of the tray instead of how it was when shipped.READ FULL REVIEW
