This review is from: Velodyne vLeve On-Ear Headphones with Inline Mic and 3-Button Remote - Matte Black
Pros: - Decent audio for $13
- Detachable/replaceable cable
Cons: - Microphone is unreliable (works less than half the time)
- Audio is bass-heavy
- Sound is a little muddy
- Cable is flat and flimsy and does not resemble the cable shown in the pictures (the connectors and mic even look different)
Other Thoughts: I bought two of these. I would only recommend these for around $15, because you WILL need to get your own replacement cable/mic. Both cables are heavily unreliable at transmitting microphone input. I've only been using these for a few weeks so I can't speak to their longevity. I'll update if they break.
I'd actually return these, but the shipping cost and effort (and possible rejection of claim) would be more than just buying replacement (different brand) cables with an in-line mic. They got me, so I guess I'll make the best of it.
The audio works, so I was going to give it two stars until I noticed the cable in the picture is substantially different than the one I received. False advertising. I'd give it zero eggs now if I could.
Also be wary that there is no company website referencing these headphones. The company website auto-redirects you to their lidar site.
Pros: Fast and quiet
Cons: Failed after 8 months of regular usage. I've never had a hard drive fail so quickly.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: price - will update after receiving product.
Cons: none yet - will update soon
Other Thoughts: @John The model number is consistent with the description. Check the specs at the lg site... it says 250cd/m 2 quite plainly.
Also, the specs both here and on the lg site say it has a VESA mount, which JB's dad says it doesn't.
I'll update this review after I test it out, as I just ordered today. I just thought I'd go ahead and say something to help others along with the purchase. John is just wrong. Perhaps JB's dad received the wrong monitor or LG messed up in listing their specs. I'll report back soon.
