This review is from: SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum / Steel ML04B Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Pros: This case blends in very well with my home entertainment center.
The front door does a nice job covering up the front case features (ODD interface, USB 3.0 ports, lights, etc).
Having both the front door and power button locked is an excellent child-proof (adult-proof?) idea for preventing accidental power button engagement.
Cons: It would have been nice if a dedicated IR remote port was included in front of this case, with full functionality when the front door is closed.. Right now, I am running a USB extension from the case rear, over the top, toward the front.
Even without this feature, I would still buy (and highly recommend) this case, hence no eggs removed.
Other Thoughts: If an SFX power supply is to be used, give strong consideration to acquiring an 8-10" main connector (20+4 pin) extension. I attempted to use the ST45SF and ST45SF-G PSU with a mini-ITX motherboard, and the main connector would not reach with either PSU.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Well-built case, with a high gloss front face. From what I can tell, the only plastic portion of this case is the removable front panel. Everything else is steel.
The LED power and HDD lights are not in-your-face bright; these are integrated into the power and reset buttons, respectively.
Cons: Only 5 standoff holes for micro-ATX motherboards. The one that was missing is at motherboard bottom, toward front of computer.
It seems that a hole cannot go here due to a steel seam in the case. It would have been nice if a plastic leg was included to provide additional support between the motherboard and case at this location.
I did complete this build while carefully supporting the lower front corner of the motherboard as needed (plugging in SATA cables and front panel connections) . No functional issues occurred, hence no eggs removed.
Other Thoughts: This is an excellent case to consider if front USB 3.0 ports are desired.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech S-220 17 Watts 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System
Pros: Loud, with plenty of bass. Was not expecting this type of sound quality at the price paid.
Other Thoughts: Just an FYI - the right and left speakers share a common cord, which means they cannot be separated.
These are excellent speakers for a budget computer build.
