5 out of 5 eggs awesome for air 06/24/2014

This review is from: Thermaltake NiC C4 (CLP0607) 120mm CPU Cooler

Pros: keeps my 3770k@4.2ghz cool.... max temp under benchmarking so far was 54C... which is great for not being liquid

Cons: not really a con cuz i knew ahead of time, but make sure you have a 250mm or wider full tower case... this hits the side case fan on my mid tower so i cant latch the top latch or else the case fan hits the cooler... almost dustbuster loud at full speed, but with a gaming rig thats to be expected

Other Thoughts: perfect air cooler for a full tower if you have tall RAM... this unit is skinnier and taller than the frio to allow RAM with big heatsinks to fit

AMD A6-5400K Trinity Dual-Core 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 65W Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 7540D AD540KOKHJBOX
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: was cheap in a bundle barebone kit, built in dedicated graphics

Cons: i think i got a bad chip... installed it and it runs very slow... hiccups all the time and takes forever to do simple things like load webpages... hardware monitor says its getting up near 90C... threshold is 70C.. not good... reinstalled heatsink to make sure that wasnt the issue.... fan is set to 100% manually.. still runs very hot. bios is up to date so thats not it either.... stumped
