Pros: Nice high quality board. Great WiFi.
Cons: Does not work with Windows Vista or older OS. Iwas going use a spare Windows Vista for the HTPC. After the board would not install, I looked at the fine print: W7 or later.
Other Thoughts: The Intel i3 graphics are not suitable for HTPC. I had to add a graphics card for satisfactory results. Thankfully the board had a expansion slot.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Runs at 40 dec C when streaming Hulu or APrime. The stock cooler is quiet so far. I can hear the HD over the fan!
Cons: Not sure if it's the on-board graphics, but the "blacks" are not as contrasty as the AMD APU (Richland) this is replacing. In a dark movie scene, it gets that pixelated look in the shadows. I don't recall the AMD having this issue. I will continue to work with the settings.
Other Thoughts: The AMD unit fried which is why I love this cool running Intel. The AMD APU required an aftermarket cooler to hear the TV. The stock intel cooler seems good as-is.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap. Plug-n-play on my Biostar microATX board. No boot issues. Running Debian Squeeze 64 bit.
