Pros: reads perfect on my gigabyte P67A board, 8-8-8-24 1.5v 1600Hz. A week of Dragon Age 2 and Shogun2 and no problems at all.
Other Thoughts: love Gskill, this is the 3rd build ive used them in and all 3 builds have been perfect from the RAMs stand point. They are a little on the tall side so check around on the internet to make sure they will fit with your CPU heatsinkREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: RAIDMAX Helios ATX-819WB Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: looks nice. love the layout of the inside. cable management holes. great paint all around even in corners and inside of places.
Cons: I owned a raidmax samilodom for 3 years and loved that case to death but its was pretty old at that point and cases have gotten better so i upgraded to this because i liked the raidmax case i had, well i now wish i would have got an antec.
The steel is a really light gauge. Its flimsy and cheap feeling like if i push down it could fold over onto it self. The steel is so thin the screw holes for everything have no thread so dont tighten stuff down to hard or you with strip out what little thread there is. No extras for a 80$ case is let down. Raidmax fans are among the worse fans I have even seen in more whole life, replace them and throw them away. They are not even worth keeping. The mesh PCI slot covers are nice and all but they didnt take their time with them. I had some that where cut wrong and overlapped eachother and some that where to long and didnt set flush on the case when you screw them down. The main hard drive cage vibrates really bad with a spinning disk
Other Thoughts: overall RAIDMAX let me down with this case. Great design and look. POUR choice is the steel gauge, terrible fans, and overall cheap feel. For 80$ I should have gone with a newer Antec case. RAIDMAX probably wont be getting money form me again after this let downREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: great card for the price. runs Dragon Age 2 on very high settings with the newest nvidia drivers just fine. Shogun2 plays great on high settings
Cons: The heatsink SUCKS. It's not all that great. You need to install the evga software and set the fan to auto and adjust the settings or this thing will cook itself. Idels at 30c under 90% load for 5hours it gets upto 60c easy with the fan at 100% it drops down to around 50c but thats still pretty hot
Other Thoughts: wish evga would have made a better heatsink for this card. I paid 80$ just last week, i can see why the price has come down and why they are giving a rebate for it, still a good card for the moneyREAD FULL REVIEW
