This review is from: ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: -Fits a better cooler (logysis beta 400 st)
-easy to read bios
-Rated at 95w, but I overclocked my fx 6300 to 4.1ghz and it has been running stable
Cons: Only real gripe is no usb 3 or sata 6gps.. But I installed a pci-usb 3 card to fix that.
Other Thoughts: I'm running stable at 4.1ghz for my 6300 and don't plan on going higher because this isn't an OC MB, but you can get a bit of an OC with it.
FX 6300 OC to 4.1
MSI 670 PE 2gb
logysis beta 400 st cpu fan
Pros: For the price, this little guy is pretty beast. I mainly chose this because I play battlefield 4 which is actually optimized for multi-threads, so it performs great.
Overclocking is very easy, Right now its at a stable 4.1ghz and with the Logysis Beta 400 ST, doesn't go over 45c at max load and hovers at 20c idle.
The Stock fan will do its job if you dont plan on overclocking.
This paired with my MSI 670 PE gets me 60+ fps on battlefield 4 1080p high settings.
Cons: Sort of a con, but if you plan on overclocking I would get a better fan. Stock speed and stock fan, gaming would put me in the 60s which is survivable but the lower the temp, the better.
Doesn't make me coffee
Other Thoughts: Definitely recommend overclocking as it is fairly easy and can get some added benefits.
