Pros: this an update to my previous review. pros are the same.
Cons: i would like to note that the mount for this camera is not very durable. i suggest purchasing a much stronger mount for it. trust me its worth it.
Other Thoughts: early this morning (2-10-09) someone purposely broke my camera off its mount. i have the camera recording so i caught the person who did it. never underestimate a security camera. you never know who's watching, and you never know if it is recording. i still highly recommend this camera to anyone needing basic surveillance.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Small, great picture, very clear. low light is good up to 30 - 50 feet easily. preforms great in most lighting conditions. installation is very simple and easy.
Cons: pwr/video cable off the camera is a little short, maybe 8 inches if that. cord is not through the base, so the camera can be easily rendered useless. but as long as the placement of cam puts anyone in view if they are attempting to cut it, and you have it recording, youre good. lol. power supply cord is only maybe 5 ft long, i cut it and used 18 gauge speaker wire, not the best choice of action, but it works.
Other Thoughts: great camera, definitely recommend to anyone looking for a basic security cam. will buy many moreREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: This laptop is amazing. Im writing this review on it of course. But this thing is crazy fast. I didnt get my version from Newegg but I would have if I could. Mine has a 1.83ghz Centrino (looking to upgrade) but its all around the same. I've had it 2 months now and not a single problem. This laptop runs abnormally cool and quiet even when im gaming on full settings. I thought it would be loud and hot like my girlfriends HP Palvilion 17". I love the little digital LED Display, good for looking at the time when im gaming or whatever. And the dvd drive is on the left. I love that so much because its really annoying to have it in the way of my mouse hand on other laptops. esata is a plus. Can use one of the usb ports as a power port when the laptop is off and plugged in. thats a plus
Cons: I kinda dont like how the ASUS Direct Flash side lights blink. I've been trying to find a mod or something to keep them solid. I would like them to stay on all the time. Adds a really cool effect. Wish i could do more with the ASUS Direct Messenger (Digital LED display thingy)
Other Thoughts: I think the 1st and 2nd impressions guy just got a bad model. mine wasnt loaded down with crapware. 64 bit is so much better and is required for use of the 4gb ram. HDMI works great btw.READ FULL REVIEW
