This review is from: Case Logic Black 7-10" Netbook Sleeve Model LNEO-10-BLACK
Pros: Soft, protecting, easy to carry, easy to stow, decent looking, and sturdy zippers.
Cons: The pocket can carry most netbook power chords, but it protrudes a good deal from the case and leaves behind stretch marks.
Other Thoughts: I use it to keep my netbook from getting scratched up in my messenger bag as well as for just carrying around the house.
Also, the cardboard sleeve it comes in says the max you can fit in the case is 11x9.1x2.4" or 28x23x6cm and going by my the spare room my 10.3" or 26.5cm long netbook leaves I have no reason to doubt it.
Pros: Cheap, cool matte maroon color, long battery life (you'll only run out of power if you forget it runs of a batter, which you might), comfortable keyboard, light and compact (as a netbook should be), a quick boot button to browse online without having to wait for Windows, always runs cool enough to hold, and did I mention it's cheap?
Cons: The 'T' button on my keyboard keeps popping off, lots of Asus bloatware (maybe you like that sort of thing), fn+F3 turns off the touchpad (good) which is necessary to type anything a sentence or more long (bad), no physical control over the volume other than fn+F10/F11/F12 to mute/increase-volume/decrease-volume respectively, and Windows 7 Start kind of sucks.
Other Thoughts: The issue most on my mind is my 'T' key. I'd fix it myself if I knew how or I'd return it if I could afford two weeks without a computer. I otherwise got what I expected, but the broken key really rustles my jimmies (one egg down).
This netbook comes with a quick boot up OS which allows you to surf the web without having to wait for windows. It's nice to have it, but I never use it because booting takes less than a minute and with such a long battery life there isn't much reason to turn it off as opposed to letting it sleep. If I understand how it works correctly, then it could also be handy should your computer ever be bogged down with viruses.
I switched out the 1GB memory for a 2GB for $20 right off the bat. It can get laggy with HQ videos like YouTube and Netflix. Going Fullscreen helps, and so does moving the video "time tracker" around. I've turned off the HQ option for my Netflix, but with such a small screen you'll hardly care.
