Pros: Was able to return
Cons: Desktop Ram caused blue screen. It took me a while to realize it was the Patriot RAM, as I was in denial not believing any company would sell BAD memory. I Googled a way to test the memory, and need to buy a test program. Program found 65635 errors with 32 bits in error. GIVE ME A BREAK. WHY did PATRIOT not find the error before selling????
Before I found a way to test the memory, I called Tech support and NEVER got a return call. I to filed a RMA and PAID the shipping to return BAD memory, which was NOT tested or it would not have caused Blue screen. I am now waiting for my memory to come back and will NEED TO test it again and I hope it will be ok.
If Patriot supplies a product that does not work they should pay for the shipping to fix THEIR mistake. Why should I be the person to test their product and pay to return it?
Other Thoughts: If Patriot supplies a product that does not work they should pay for the shipping to fix THEIR mistake. Why should I be the person to test their product and pay to return it.
I believe tech support does not return calls because they know they are selling untested memory and are overwhelmed with calls to return the memory.
I have no reason to buy Patriot memory, due to the POOR phone service and untested memory that was sold to me.
I am going back to PNY, which I have Never had a problem. PNY does answer the phone also.
This review is from: Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus - 600W Power Supply
Pros: I needed a power supply to replace a Dell Dimension Computer. I bought 3 PSU and none of them worked. Finally I decided to call the PSU manufactures, and the ONLY Company that understood the difference was Coolermaster. All of the other companies simply did not know which one would work with the Dell.
I bought the Cooler Master RS-600 and I was back in business. Latter, I decided to build a new computer using an ASUS motherboard and was able to use the Cooler Master Extreme 600w with it. I am a gamer and have never had any problems. 600 watts is a lot of power and it has a big cooling fan. There are more than enough connectors and if you need more connectors you can get adapters for couple of dollars.
Other Thoughts: I highly Recommend this power supplyREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: hec HP585DB 585W ATX12V Power Supply - Power Cord Included
Pros: It you need a lot of power and do not want to pay a lot of money or need to replace an old power supply, There is NO logical reason not to buy the Orion 585w power supply. Most systems do not need more than 450w, but because it is priced so low, it cannot hurt to have the extra wattage. There are more than enough connectors: Motherboard 1 x 20+4, 1 x 4 molex, 3 SATA, 1 x 6 pin, 1 x 4 pin, and 1 x floppy. I you need more connectors, you can get adapters for very a couple of dollars and because it is so powerful the adapters would not affect performance.
Cons: None that I have found.
Other Thoughts: If you prefer to pay more money buy another power supplyREAD FULL REVIEW
