This review is from: TRENDnet TN-200 Diskless System 2-Bay NAS Media Server Enclosure
Pros: Gigabit port, DLNA, iTune server...
Cons: Not for novice
Other Thoughts: I have a couple of old HD laying around, so finally decided to put them to use. I have used trendnet before with good results, so found this box with good price and decided to give it a try.
It has been a few years since I have used the NAS. To set it up, I just followed the manual and ran the wizard, which is not too bad, if you know NAS terms. Selected the RAID1 to mirror data to both drives as backup. After mapping the drive, a quick test showing that read is around 45MB/s and Write is around 60MB/s. These are faster than transferring files using a USB2.0 portable HD (granted that the drive I have is also a few years old).
Forgot to say that the computer that I used was an Asus with i5, 4MB RAM and GB network port with netgear GB router.
This review is from: Canvas Nylon 22mm Military Black Replacement Watch Band
Cons: difficult to put the pins through.
Other Thoughts: Quick shipping.
Tired of the rubber band that keep breaking in a couple of years, so bought these.
Installation was ok, if I use a small screw driver to go through the hole where the pins are going through.
Fairly comfortable to wear.
This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-737HRE N300 High Power Easy-N-Range Extender
Pros: Works as expected and setting it us is a breeze. Small and not noticeable.
Cons: so far so good
Other Thoughts: The laptop has signal at the back sunroom, but not the cell phones. Put this little thing on a power socket in the kitchen and problem solved! The router is from AT&T and the WDS worked and took about 2 minutes for them to linked up.READ FULL REVIEW
