Pros: Looks pretty ... box is nice
Cons: Would be a great card if i could keep it cool , once it hit normal hasing levels with zero OC it starts burning away at 80-90c then the card shuts down.
I have to underclock it severely to get any use out of it.
I will put it in my gaming rig and see what it does but this card is weak in the cooling department despite the looks
Other Thoughts: Stay aaaawayREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ECS A990FXM-A AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Good board , runs stable using windows 7 , windows 8.1 . 3 PCIE slots and 2 1x slots nicely spaced.
Main thing is it runs stable and no crashes for long periods
Cons: Bios is a bit hard to navigate
Other Thoughts: you can run 5 GPU's for litecoin mining reliably on this board.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -ATX form factor
-Has all the bells and whistles for a high end server board
-SAS 3.0 etc etc lots of expandiblity.
Cons: -Dead memory slot
-Horrible RMA proccess , very very slow
-No feedback from SUpermicro unless i harass their reps
-Overall bad experience.
Other Thoughts: Well from the start i had issues with this board: it came with a dead memory slot. SInce it was a production build and I had only 32 gigs of ecc ram anyways I decided to just roll with it and the server installed and worked well for about two months. ANyways i started getting random reboots and what not and web sites started going down randomly. I run HYper V on the box with only 8 VMs dual Nhelam 5530 processors at 2.4 ghz. Overall my total build cost me 2500 dollars and now I am sitting on my thumbs running client websites on a dual core virtual backup box while Supermicro processes my RMA. Its been two weeks now and still nothing. This weekend I'll run to the local server shop or something and pick up an intel board I guess. Thanks for losing me thousands of dollars.READ FULL REVIEW
