Pros: excellent Realtek hardware and Windows 8.1 driver, fast connection and disconnection, solid construction
Cons: stiff cable, short cable
Other Thoughts: For me, the cable difficult to use my situations. It's either too long (and stiff) or too short. I have it dangling over the edge of desktop and the stiffness does seem to put too much of a bend in the cable (with is a good thing). The gigabit speed have been really good (60Mbps) with a keyboard, mouse, and a point-and-shoot camera attached.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BitFenix Spectre Pro All Black 230mm Case Fan
Pros: High CFM airflow, starts at 5V, 7V noise reduction adapter
Cons: Much noise at 7V and 12V, very difficult to mount
Other Thoughts: This fan was a disappointment in so many way. First, the noise. At full bore, it's surprising how much noise a 900 rpm a fan can create. Second, installing the 7V adapter drop the rpm and noise but just little bit.
The mounting holes are of really hard plastic. Anyone the has dealt with this before will know it is extremely hard to get the screws into the hole with stripping the screw heads.
The shipping took and entire week...the entire 7 days. This is first time egg saver has taken a week to go to the next state.
Pros: very quiet
fantastic power envelope
Cons: very tight fit in Silverstone SG05
Other Thoughts: Last graphics card I bought was ATI Radeon 9800XT ten years ago. That card suck a lot juice sitting still and in 3D games. Moving forward to today's cards like the XFX Radeon HD 7870 Black, and power output has changed. Sitting idle it only consumes 10 watts. WTH!!! Impressive! I'm not big gamer so I bought this card for racing games which I know now is overkill. But card looks nice, XFX was offering a rebate, and Newegg had an instant price break. Pretty sweet.READ FULL REVIEW
