OCZ Z-Drive R2 M84 OCZSSDPX-ZD2M84256G PCI-E 256GB PCI-Express interface (x8) MLC Enterprise Solid State Disk

Pros: Passmark Hardrive benchmark give it a sustained read of 334MB/s and sustained write of 364MB/s on my system and that's before any tweeking.

Cons: If you are trying to use this is a Windows XP Pro 32 or 64bit system then save yourself a lot of frustration and don't even try the OCZ drivers. To use this card as a boot drive, you of course have to load the drivers on the initial load (F6) screen and it will tell you that there is a problem with line 31 of the driver file when using the 64 bit driver. I backed off and tried to load XP Pro 32 bit using the 32 bit driver and even though the driver was recognized correctly and even loaded correctly, when it got to the disk selection/partition screen the drive was not seen? I wasted a good 3/4 hours trouble shooting by changing PCI Express slots, bios settings and even a different mobo. I finally gave up and called OCZ Tech support and got through amazingly fast. They suggested I try the LSI driver for the card (LSI SAS1068E). Worked perfectly! Dropped an Egg because I believe OCZ should have a working drivers available.

Other Thoughts: The card will fit in either of your SLI/CrossFire slots. My mobo runs the first card 16x but the second card only at 4X when both slots are populated. I though the 4X might cause a reduction in performance so I put it in the first slot (16x) and my used the second slot for my Video card. There was absolutely no difference in Passmark scoring for the OCZ Z-Drive but the video performance really fell off. Obviously it seems to make no difference in performance when slotted in a 16x, 8x, or 4x slot.

SAPPHIRE 100283L Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: I love the awesome looks and sturdy design of this card. I was afraid that it would be too long for my case but it is only about 9 inches long and fit nicely. The fan is very quiet and my Windows Experience aoro/Graphics score came all the way up to a 7.4 and that is with just one card!!! Simply Awesome!!!!

Cons: My applications and games are playing soo smoothly now that I just can't find any downside to having this card.

Other Thoughts: I like it sooo much I talked myself into ordering another one to run in a Crossfire configuration. Of course shipping was lightning fast and I have been a loyal NewEgg customer for over 6 years :)
