Pros: Excellent product support. See my previous review on 6/14/2014 with one egg. Cooler Master took care of me and replaced the bad fan in a timely manner.
Cons: It was inconvenient, but stuff happens. Nothing is perfect, but having a company that takes care of customers when something does happen makes it easy to forgive and forget. This is not an expensive item, but the support shows what a good company Cooler Master is.
Other Thoughts: I could not find a way to edit or amend my previous review, so I am posting this positive review to acknowledge the support I received.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Not overly expensive.
Cons: This 69 CFM fan not seem to push any more air than the 50 CFM 120mm fan it replaced. It has been in use less than a month and already makes a rattling noise and has vibration like a worn out fan.
Other Thoughts: Disappointing product. Find another alternative. I have it installed horizontally because that is how I need to use it. In a vertical position the rattling and vibration goes away. That doesn't do me any good because I cannot use it in a vertical position.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I purchased this as an upgrade for my Alienware M18xR2. It is 100% compatible and ran at 2133 with the BIOS set to "auto" for speed. It is very fast, 2x8GB runs at CR 1T and it is very stable at CL10. Having 16GB in two sticks is sweet and I still have two slots available if I ever have a need for 32GB.
Cons: It is too expensive. No XMP profiles for enhanced performance.
Other Thoughts: I tested it in a new Haswell-based Alienware 18 and it only runs at 1866. Attempting to manually set it to 2133 did not help. But, I bought it for the M18xR2 so I am not missing anything by the fact it only runs at 1866 in the newer machine.
This Vengeance memory is slightly faster than the Kingston HyperX 2133 (4x4GB) memory that it replaced.
I got tired of waiting for it to come back into stock at NewEgg and ended up buying it from a different vendor.
