Pros: I've installed it in my new Thinkpad T460s, and it's like you're just working from a ram disk - no lag from the disk whatsoever. Love the performance!
Cons: Datasheets say that eDrive and OPAL will be supported in a future firmware release. The future hasn't arrived yet. So, sorry, lose 1 egg for promises not fulfilled. The only way to encrypt it is a hard drive password, and the T460s thinks it is an OPAL-compliant drive and won't allow me to set one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Using this with my Thinkpad T420s with single USB 3.0 port. Portability is great, screen quality is great. I've never noticed any performance issues, though I haven't tried video. Great solution for having a second monitor on the road.

Pros: Great display on new USB Type C based MacBook. Light, portable.
Cons: Monitor has one USB Type C port. The MacBook has one USB Type C port, used for charging and everything else. It seems impossible to charge the MacBook and use the monitor at the same time. Accessories to do this don't seem to exist on the market. So, the monitor has an effective working time of about 3 hours, after which you have to recharge your MB. Didn't somebody think about this??
Other Thoughts: Wouldn't recommend this for MacBook users unless you can sort out the charge/use-at-the-same-time issue.READ FULL REVIEW
