Pros: .i7 CPU
.650M graphics card runs nearly everything you throw at it (I'm running Witcher 2 on High with zero hiccups)
.Wonderful keyboard (feel and response is top notch, hard getting used to an accessible numpad)
.17" screen is crystal clear.
Cons: .Dead pixel on screen that can sometimes be glaringly obvious.
.Sound seems a little hushed at times.
Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a ~5 year old HP laptop and it's like I came out of a cave. This thing is more than I thought it'd be. It runs quiet and I've had yet to experience serious heat (Witcher 2 can put it through its paces but it's never too hot). For someone with a budget, I can't see how you wouldn't go with this machine. Compared to similarly spec'd laptops, this thing is miles cheaper than what is available.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: DIAMOND Stealth S9250PCI256SB Radeon 9250 256MB 128-Bit DDR PCI Video Card
Pros: I bought this in order to replace my on-board video and there is a HUGE amount of difference. It can run Half-Life 2 on High but there is some slowdown when you venture outside for too long. Put it on Med. settings, looks just as good and performs alot better. CS:S can be run on nearly all High while getting 30-35 FPS.
Cons: The drivers! The Omega drivers are really good but they aren't Microsoft signed so some games won't accept it. Stick with the Catalyst 6.04 version (I think), works alot better and it's digitally signed.
Other Thoughts: You'll need to have a min. 350 watt PSU to run the card smoothly. Also, here is a fan as well as a heatsink which helps it run very cool. If all you have is PCI, I'd recommend this over the Geforce 5500.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -Excellent memory
-Works great when concerning games
Cons: -None so far, great product
Other Thoughts: I upgraded from 256 MB to this 1GB RAM and there is a very noticable difference. Boot runs faster, programs load faster, this is just a great piece of RAM.READ FULL REVIEW
