This review is from: SUPER TALENT PICO-C 16GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model STU16GPCN
Pros: I had an 8GB older version of these and this one is much faster. Performance is great now.
The build if these little drives is top quality and they fit very tightly in the USB port.
Cons: The new controller doesn't play well with my Nvidia NForce 4 motherboards USB controller. This causes it to have very flaky performance although it can still usually read and write to the drive, it just takes forever. Works fine on all my other computers though.
The problem was annoying enough that I marked it down to 4 stars although I still wouldn't trade the drive for anything else.
This review is from: Kingston 16GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model DTMS/16GB
Pros: Small size, fast enough to get by (6-12MB/s seq read, ~5 write), 16GB in such a small package is great.
Cons: They made the connector too thin. This means it creates a loose fit when inserted into a USB slot so if you bump it or anything the connection will reset.
Other Thoughts: I'm going to try putting some glue on the back of the connector to give it a tighter fit. Seems like a really stupid mistake for them not to notice this simple problem and prevent it.READ FULL REVIEW
