Perfect upgrade on my Crosshair MB
Pros: A W S O M E at 3.0 ghz O/C
Cons: Not really a con but I wish had more L3 Mem like the newer Phenom II parts have 6MB
Overall Review: One fool actually said "Not a good gaming chip especially if you play Warhammer online. Due to vista and XP patch you need to run a TLB fix every boot up to make your lvl 3 cache work." in one of these reviews he has no clue this processor is B3 stepping and does not have the TLB bug I was ROFL.
Followup Review
Pros: Great concept ceap price sound quality is good
Cons: Poor voice recognition commands I either does not knwo what you are say at all or it starts dialing random numbers that are not even in your contact list ex you can say "Call Alice on Mobile" and it will just put in some random numbers to dial or it will call what ever is first in your contact list like *ATT Check Bill. Also it does not recognise the word mobile as spoken in American English you have to say it with a brittish accent like MO-BILE (like the other word for Vomit - Bile) Battery life was great the first two days lasted several hours using it to play music from my phone and then watching movies on my iPad2 during my commute and then it took a serious dive after the first time the battery ran out and now only lasts an hour after charging it all day. Also now I used it on standby for about 1 hour and talked on the phone for like 10 minutes and then I turned it off when I got home...I turn it on the next morning and the thing died in like 10 minutes.
Overall Review: The Samsung webpage does not exist for this product nor is it listed BUT if you go to Mobile and then cell phone accessories it shows up on the top in the flash featured products slide show and when you click on it there of course page not found. I even Emailed them about the product not being list nor the webpage for it working and I got a quick response that it would be corrected right away but its been over a week and its still not there. I think Samsung knows there is an issue with this headset and pulled the product from their webpage you get what you pay for I always say. No wonder it was under $20 on newegg
OK but not as good as expected
Pros: Price was right I got 2 of them for $59ea no tax and free shipping. I bought them to watch our son in his room when he is supposed to be taking a nap and the second to keep an eye on the dog when not home. 9 Months later they finally work better then when I bought them after a few app updates and firmware updates to the cameras.
Cons: Even though Edimax has attempted to improve the app and fix the other issues with the ip cams via firmware updates they are still sub par in performance. The Audio is garbled and has a significant delay when I speak into the mic to say something through the camera. I had constant problems with them losing signal and or rebooting or I had to reboot them by pulling the power....though the latest firmware seems to have resolved those problems finally BUT the app is still sub par it times out constantly is very delayed and the IR gets washed out and rendered useless when any other light source is near.
Overall Review: I just set up two Nest Cams at my Elderly Fathers condo to keep an eye on him and they work 1000 times better especially the app and picture clarity truthfully I plan on trying to resell these Edimax cameras and spend a little more on the Nest Cams....unless edimax can improve the performance of the app/camera and the desktop recording software.
Died after 2 months
Pros: Modular and worked great when it worked
Cons: Died after 2 months
Overall Review: I got this one because of specs and rebate I usually buy only Antec Power Supplies since in all my 20+ years of building PCs I have yet to have one fail on me.
FACT - SSDNow drive performance will drop over time
Pros: WAS fast when I installed it worked great. WAS is the operative word. FAST it is not after a year as an O/S only drive (Windows 8.1)
Cons: After about a year the Drive is Running Super Slow in fact its slower than my normal WD Black Secondary drive. After doing some digging I found out that over time this drive will ALWAYS get slower here is Kingston's official word on the subject "Performance decrease has been reported on some of the SSDNow drives. If you have an older SSD drive that does not have effective Garbage Collection, SSD drive performance will drop over time." Mine is only 1 year Old I don't consider that older Kingston should make some sort of Software solution to counter this problem or replace these drives as I consider it false advertising on the speed and performance and a lemon
Overall Review: Had I known of this issue I would not have bought this drive so far the only Solution I have seen from Kingston is "Performance decrease has been reported on some of the SSDNow drives. If you have an older SSD drive that does not have effective Garbage Collection, SSD drive performance will drop over time. This is due to the way the system overwrites data that has been flagged for deletion. Try using the Secure Erase tool like HDDErase to wipe the drive and restore it to original condition. Which in my case is a pain in the if I have to do that every year
BEST PROTECTION OUT THERE FOR A SURFACE PRO 2
Pros: Great Protection for your Surface Pro 2. In fact there is nothing else out there like it. I would hate to accidentally drop my 512 gb Surface Pro with out the Urban Armor Gear on it. It does not add too much weight to the surface and it does not obstruct the Cooling vents. The Touch, Type and Power. Impact resistant core with corner bumpers, soft grip material, easy access to all the ports.
Cons: I did not take off any eggs because the only two cons I have with it I consider minor. the first being I would have liked a multipositional kickstand like the surface 3, and the second would be a pen loop on the side for the stylus.
Overall Review: The case looks tough and is tough, you can secure your type cover 2 with two bands that are included on the corners, this is great for walking and travelling with it
