This review is from: Antec Eleven Hundred Black Super Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Tool-less drive bays - I love them no one wants to screw and unscrew stuff I hated having to take off both side panels to screw and unscrew drives.
Grommet-lined cable routing holes - Awsome Cable Management options though the rubber grommets are a bit of a pain since they come loose easily but they are necessary since the metal is sharp around the holes and they are easy to get them back in place after you are done putting all your cables through them.
Lastly and most importantly to me is the PSU intake & front air filters - DUST is the death of any computer it coats the heat sinks and components and then acts like insulation keeping the heat IN and not letting the heat sinks properly dissipate heat. The filters are easy to access and clean which will extend the life of your system dramatically.
Cons: Front panel connection (USB, Power SW ect) wires could be a little longer, Cable management rubber grommets are thin and flimsy they come loose as soon as you start putting a cable through them. These are both not deal breakers and not enough of an issue to take off any eggs.
Other Thoughts: FInally Air Filters that are easy to access and clean...I miss the Antec Darkfleet series of cases they had the right idea then where you could remove the air filters from the front of the case with out having to open up the case and unscrew the drive cages like you do with the Antec 902 casesREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Low Cost and Modular
Cons: Cables are too short....really if you are going to build for enthusiasts and gamers then give us long enough cables to that we can run them BEHIND the motherboards through our fancy cable management holes in the case.
Other Thoughts: It blows my mind how Antec make great cases but then no PSUs that can easily make use of their own cable management. thermaltake and Corsair have been listening to their customers and now have elongated cables on most of their PSUs. I have had bad memory from OCZ BUT their customer service was good and I got RMA replacements easily enough.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nice and fancy touch screen Prints well enough but thats where it ends
Cons: There are Major Scan lines on images issues with this Printer and HP is blaming most of it on ESD. Their solution are clean the scan feed and glass or turn it off and pull the plug and turn it back on again oh and don't plug it into any surge protectors it must be plugged in directly to an outlet. The above solutions work for a few clean scans then you start geting lines again in your scans...just google it or look on their forums TONS of ppl w/ this model are experiencing lines on their scans
Other Thoughts: We tried two already and tried troubleshooting with HP to no avail (really frustrating when they make you do the same things you already did as suggested on their website and they dont take your word for it)READ FULL REVIEW
