This review is from: Barska 9-27X25 Gladiator Binoculars
Pros: Cheap (got my pair for $37), nice case to go with it, comfortable, small, works (see cons).
Cons: When adjusting the zoom, the focus of each ocular changes separately, so once you have both in focus and change the magnification, you have to adjust the coarse focus to get one eye piece in focus, then adjust the fine focus of the eye piece not in focus - quite a big pain.
The second thing is that when you approach the upper end of magnification, a blurry black region appears on the bottom of the field of view - doesn't obstruct much view, just more annoying than anything.
Other Thoughts: It could be worse, but it accomplishes the essential function of a pair of binoculars for a good price. Beyond that, simplicity of use should be priority, which seems to be lacking in this product. I suppose if you're not going to be changing the magnification, it's a great little pair (4-star). I might have a faulty pair.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -Responsive screen
-Almost never lags/freezes (granted I don't push it to the limits)
-Comes with screen-protector
-Likely the cheapest tablet on the market for what it does (got it for $75)
-Case & keyboard are pretty nice, adjustable for other tablets of similar size
-Battery life several days/weeks if being used occasionally to read eBooks (Kindle has the best interface for reading, IMO)
-Comes with Angry Birds, a PowerPoint, PDF, and Doc reader, and some other nice/handy apps preloaded
Cons: -Absolutely NOT 1080p; actually pretty mediocre resolution
-Keyboard needs an additional adapter (provided) to connnect to the tablet, but doesn't fin in the case; almost defeats the purpose of having a keyboard.
-Case doubles thickness of tablet; more inconvenient
-Froze twice on unlock screen second day, had to hard reset.
-Screen locks immediately after sleeping, regardless of settings (most likely an OS issue that will soon be fixed)
-Pretty cheap-looking and -feeling, e.g. serial no. is a sticker on the back.
-Stock screen protector is insanely easy to scratch, and quickly starts to come off on the edges with the lightest bumps
-Battery life a few hours if actively using it for streaming, Facebooking, etc.
-Of the 4GB of pre-installed storage, you get about 1.7GB
-Don't fling the tablet around while in the case, or even hold it upright (like a book) for that matter, the tablet can, and probably will, slip out.
Other Thoughts: I mainly only use it for reading eBooks, and it works pretty good. However, the screen resolution is pretty low, so I have to turn it sideways or zoom in to read. The adjustable screen brightness is good and easy to use. Like my points suggest, it's far from high-quality and error-free, but for only $75, I couldn't find a tablet that does more. I'm happy with my purchase.READ FULL REVIEW
