Pros: Works exactly as I had hoped.
Absolutely no setup required, just plugged the cable in and it was up and running.
Other Thoughts: I bought this cable to take advantage of my phone's unlimited data by streaming movies/tv on my phone rather than on my slow, data-capped home internet connection.
Sharing pictures and video are much cooler on a big screen too.
I'm using this cable with a Galaxy S II Epic and EVO 4G.
Pros: -Price: For the price category I wasn't expecting much, especially after reading a lot of other TP-LINK router reviews that ranted about the signal dropping and other issues, it's been good so far.
-Functionality: So far I have had no issues at all. I turned the router on the day I got it, set it up in a few minutes and was up and running.
I spent all day with my neighbor playing on my brand new LAN minecraft server- port forwarding was a breeze and worked right away for both of us- and had no issues for the full 7 hours we were on.
-Signal: The signal completely covers my entire house and reaches to the outer boundary of our pool deck- a little over 60ft away from the router.
-Look: I absolutely love the design of this router, it's very tough looking with it's ominous 3 antennas (I'm not gonna lie, I bought it because it looked cool). If this thing had red indicator LEDs it would be beast.
-Features: Has all the features of those more expensive routers.
Cons: -Network Drive: I am having a ton of trouble getting my USB hard drive attached to the router's USB port to be recognized on my computer.
It shows up as a media server (even though I don't have it set as a media server in my router settings) and can only be opened by windows media player...
I'm not sure whether or not it is the router's fault (I'm sure it's windows fault), but just a heads up, this network storage isn't the easiest to setup for a noob like me.
-Documentation: The included documentation is just a Quick Setup Guide, which isn't really helpful for anything beyond just getting the thing setup. It would have been nice to have some more detailed documentation about some advanced tasks (I'm a newbie to the home networking game, so I am learning as I go).
Other Thoughts: Overall, great router for the price.
I commend TP-LINK for offering such a great piece of hardware (they could easily sell for $130) for less than half the price.
I was surprised that with my non-existent networking knowledge I was able to setup this thing so quickly and get all of my game servers working.
This review is from: Polk Audio PSW Series PSW111 Black Compact powered subwoofer Single
Pros: I purchased this sub to supplement my vintage Technics system.
I've gotten to the point where my amp (Technics SU-G91) just doesn't have enough oomph to play music at the volume levels a teenager requires.
My system already has two tower speakers, each with dual 8" woofers, but the bass output of all four woofers at the max volume of my amp are easily matched by the PSW111!
I am amazed at the deep bass a little 8" sub can put out! It makes my music sound a whole lot more rich and (best of all) powerful.
I find this sub works great with every genre of music I have tested!
It sounds amazing with any music that has a predominant beat (rap, dubstep, etc) because it adds that tight deep 'bump' to the songs that was previously missing.
I just can't seem to describe this sub well enough. It gives new life to my old system.
Cons: I should have ordered more of these...
Other Thoughts: I bought this sub on sale here for $169, and am very pleased with it.
Polk makes quality products, so when I saw this deal I just had to act.
The PSW111 adds a very deep rich sound to my music I didn't have before. It's a very compact sub, looks beautiful, and works with virtually ANY existing sound system.
