way too slow

PNY Optima Pro 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model P-SDHC8G6-DVDC
PNY Optima Pro 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model P-SDHC8G6-DVDC

Pros: large space for the cost...but at a disadvantage

Cons: Had this for my nikon D90 and it works, but not the speed it claims. I would not recommend this for DSLR. The speed is just to slow for a class 6. I use for the D90 (new and couple of days old) and the continuous shoot mode does not work properly. The card let the camera do 4-6 shots and stop to buffer. My 4gb class 2 sandisk does better..I guess you get what you pay for. If you are using it for other product then it might be good, but not for DSLR's. oh and the free national geographic wallpaper won't load after I click on the icon to download, another disappointment. Although I didn't have a care for it, but still..if it comes with it, I expect to be able to have it.

Overall Review: not made for DSLR

wrong review on the wrong card

PNY Optima 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model P-SDHC8G4-EF

Pros: Sorry I wrote on the wrong pny optima review down below. either way I would buy PNY Optima...the review was meant for the optima 8gb class 6...I'm sure the class 4 is even slower.

Cons: Just not what I expected.

Overall Review: buy PNY Optima for space but be aware of speed being slow for DSLR. I transfer the bottom review to the right card.

not worth the buy

Overall Review: I'm should of stick with Sandisk product which I have good luck with or go with a brand where I heard works pretty well such as trandscend or kingston.
