This review is from: StarTech C6PATCH6BK 6 ft. Cat 6 Black Color Network Cable
Pros: Nice construction: rubber boot near the connectors, thick cable. Works on my Gigabit LAN flawlessly. Can't beat it for $2.50 (on sale) with free shipping.
Cons: None.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TP-LINK TG-3468 Network Adapter 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express 1 x RJ45
Pros: At $12 on sale, it is an excellent value. It's a great solution for upgrading an older PC to Gigabit Ethernet. Plus it includes a low profile bracket.
Cons: Although it includes a driver disk, it would be nice if Windows had stock drivers for it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Sturdy metal construction.
Includes stick-on rubber feet.
Has mounting points.
Activity LED color indicates link speed.
Eight ports leave room for expansion for the home or small office.
Delivers advertised 1000 Mbps speed (I got 85-110 MB/s).
Cons: The power connector is located on the opposite side from the ports. This is great for mounting this device on a wall, but not so much for placing it on a desk.
Other Thoughts: For the sale price of $25, it was money well spent. This is my first TPLink product and I am very pleased. I'll definitely think twice before spending twice the money on similar Linksys or Belkin products in the future.READ FULL REVIEW
