TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 3 (6.0 Gb/S) 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: One HD wasn't DOA.

Cons: 1 of the 2 HDs I ordered was DOA. Trying to navigate Toshiba's website to replace, I was led on a wonderful loop for about 10 minutes.

Entered live chat only to be told that I had to run a logmein program. For support for a DOA hard drive.... Pants on Head stupid right there.

When I finally did that, I was told that program only supported EXTERNAL hard drives, and I had to call them.

Why do companies spend so much time and money providing these services if they don't even do anything useful with them? Adding Toshiba to my "don't buy this junk, support is atrocious" list.

ZOTAC AMP! ZT-50204-10M GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Decent card when it works.

Cons: This card requires you to unlock and increase the voltage on it to run with BF3. Have to run MSI afterburner and bump the voltage to 1.025 manually to get it stable. Otherwise it randomly crashes. I believe this is true for most new games.

Zotac support is horrible. Forums have been, and continue to be awash with evidence and posts with owners of this card having issues (and the fix.) Zotac refuses to fix the BIOS.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this thing. For any reason.

Stick to a trusted brand IMO.
