This review is from: ENERMAX COENUS GUNMETAL GREY ECA3290A-G ATX MID TOWER COMPUTER CASE
Pros: How many people own a gunmetal pc? Black on the inside and not bare metal like a lot of cases in this price range. Has plenty of space behind the motherboard for routing cables. Able to mount dual 120mm dual 140mm or a single 180mm fan in the top of the case. Plus many other spots for fans.
Cons: Could use a few extra inches in the top of the case to accommodate radiators and fans from water coolers. Should also have had rubber grommets on the places where the cables pass through.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Allows for 2 video cards to be run at 16x on the PCI-E slots, has usb 3
Cons: Motherboard crapped out on me after 6 months, started throttling my CPU and running extremely hot, the Northbridge heatsink gets so hot that I burned my finger on it! I sent the motherboard in for RMA, Gigabyte had the board for 3 weeks, and just sent it back, only looked like they cleaned it up a little bit then packed it back up. Got the board back and guess what CPU is being throttled back and the Northbridge heatisink is still extremely hot. Reset the bios to defaults and tried another CPU, same results. Tested every component in another motherboard and everything works and checks out just fine. Gigabyte is now giving me the run around insisting that the board is just fine and "The NB Heatsink is already validated to be able to operate at it's current spec" So its validated to run at temperatures hot enough to burn you? I am not very happy with the situation. It has now been a month since I first started having issues and these issues have not been resolved. I am going to be buying a new motherboard and it will NOT be a Gigabyte board as they have now lost my business. I am done dealing with this problem and Gigabyte can have the board back for all I care at this point.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
Pros: Bought this cooler back in 2006 for my AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ kept it at 40* under full load with the cpu overclocked. Originally wasn't compatible with AM2 sockets, only had the Intel 775 bracket and AMD 754/939/940 screw in style , Zalman was awesome and sent me the AM2 style bracket for free back in 2009! I put this cooler in a system that I built for a friend back in 2011 and he still has this cooler on his cpu to this day.
Cons: Wasn't freeREAD FULL REVIEW
