This review is from: Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD3 mSATA 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: I installed this drive on a Samsung Series 9 Windows 7 Pro laptop about 4 months ago. There were no problems whatsoever during installation and the drive has been running flawlessly. I didn't benchmark the drive, but performance is obviously much better than a HDD, with Windows starting in just a few seconds.
Cons: None.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Samsung NP900X4D 15" LED Ultrabook - Intel Core i7 i7-3667U 2 GHz - Silver
Pros: I use this laptop for work, which includes general software development. It is thin, light, quiet, and has a very reasonable battery life, about 5 to 7 hours depending on what I'm doing.
The hard disk was a little small for me, so I replaced it with a 512GB SSD and also added a 128GB SDHX memory card for backup storage.
Cons: The biggest issue for me is the small solid state disk drive. I replaced the stock 128GB drive with a 512GB drive. However, I'd be most happy if the manufacturer could include 2 internal solid state drive connectors so that I could install 2 drives for a total of 1TB disk space.
Would prefer to have full-size HDMI and VGA connectors, instead of the micro connectors.
The display width is fine, but the height is a little too short. Screen size is not a major issue, because I normally use 2 external monitors (one on the microHDMI and another on a VGA adaptor).
Pros: Very light and thin and fairly powerful and responsive. Especially, I liked the fact that this PC is very quiet and doesn't get too hot.
Cons: This is only a con for me and other older people: the screen is a little small if you are a person who needs reading glasses or bifocals for reading. I decided to return this unit and get the 15" version.
Other Thoughts: I think a lot most users will want more than 128GB of disk space. I plan to replace the mSATA drive on my new system with a 256GB mSATA drive.READ FULL REVIEW
