ASUS VN279Q Black 27
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: This is the best monitor I've ever owned.

Clear, bright, attractive frame and base.

Cons: None for me.

Other Thoughts: I bought a fine 23" Asus a few months ago, thinking that 1080P on a 27" monitor might not be as sharp.

I was wrong. Side by side this one looks much better, and the size of the the text is more appropriate.

CORSAIR Voyager Mini 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFMINI3-16GB

  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Made to be a key chain.

Sleek and conservative appearance.

16 GB for under $20.

Cons: None for me.

Other Thoughts: It's pretty small, smaller than it seems in the picture.

TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Very inexpensive for the capacity.

7200 RPM is great for a big storage drive.

Cons: I couldn't format it through either my Thermaltake eSATA or Xigmatek USB 3.0 external docks. It did fine connected internally, though.

Other Thoughts: With an SSD system drive and a few external backup drives, this makes a great desktop storage configuration.

Bought it on a Shell Shocker, but it's still a deal at the marginally higher price.

I've never owned a Toshiba drive before, but have no qualms. PCs and PC parts are more and more becoming commodities.
